St. Sinchill’s Camogie Club

May 15th 2017:

Under 12

The second round of the U12 Camogie Go Games Blitz was played in Rath on a sunshine filled bank holiday May 1st.
St Sinchills met Lusmagh/Drumcullen first and put in a superb display of teamwork, with the defence holding strong, nothing was getting past them. Midfield and Forwards scored some lovely points, some from as far out as midfield, enabling the St Sinchill girls to win comfortably.
The second match saw them meet Kinnity and not even the heat of the afternoon Sun could dampen the black and Amber girls force of attack, as again some fine camogie skills were displayed and they once more came out with the more favourable result.
A huge thanks to the hosts Rath who provided refreshing cool drinks and snacks to the thirsty girls afterwards.
Thanks to all the parents, mentors and supporters who travelled to Rath and great to see such large numbers turn out again on a bank holiday weekend.

Congrats to both the Offaly Junior and Senior Team on their wins over the weekend. The teams are captained by Lisa and Jean Brady. Continue success to our other county players also.

Best of luck to the Girls who have received their communion in the past few weeks or are to receive it on Saturday.

Best of luck girls in the schools final tomorrow. This is the fifth year the camogie team has made the final.
